Select Your Teaware:
This tea is simple and convenient to brew. You can use any type of teaware, but it’s recommended to use a teapot or mug with a capacity of about 500 ml.
Prepare the Tea:
Gently press the Green Mandarin Orange while it is still wrapped in its packaging paper to slightly crack it open. This allows the tea leaves inside to expand comfortably during steeping, releasing their full flavor.
Brewing Steps:
- Rinse: Quickly rinse the tea with hot water to awaken the leaves.
- First Steep: Add about 250 ml of boiling water (203°F / 95°C) and steep for 3 minutes for the first infusion to let the flavors develop.
- Second and Third Steep: Steep for 1 minute each time to enjoy a thicker, richer taste.
- Fourth Steep and Beyond: From the fourth steep onwards, gradually increase the steeping time as desired. Continue steeping until the tea liquor becomes light in color.
Tip: Pay attention to the changing color of the tea. Adjust the steeping time to match your preferred strength and taste balance.
